Hill of
Beans
Hill of Beans is an all-original, contemporary Christian
Band. While the band's primary focus is to bring glory to the living God,
their original style and upbeat sound finds itself at home in any musical
performance situation. Hill of Beans is NOT a church band. Regardless of the
Christian message, they are one of the best original bands Eastern Washington
has to offer. With a
distinctive sound, Hill of Beans music can be recognized by listeners even
after only one exposure to the band. This testimonial
music proves to be both inspirational as well as thought provoking. Hill of
Beans has created a niche within the overall Christian genre that will
satisfy the listening needs of a wide audience that has not yet been
fulfilled. The music is fun, upbeat and folksy, and has a heavy emphasis on
the vocals. Hill of
Beans has been constructed to be able to play at any size venue. They are as
comfortable playing at an all-acoustic fireside
show as they are playing in major concert festivals. Their extensive song
list provides concert promoters with a versatile package, thus enabling them
to conform Hill of Beans to meet their own concert needs. From headlining at
large coffeehouses, to opening up for national touring acts, Hill of Beans is
here for your use. Feel free to contact the band today to see if they are right for your show. Email messages are returned promptly, and phone calls are welcome also. |

Dave
David Tetreault
began playing guitar at the age of ten, but after seven years of studying
that instrument, he switched his primary focus to songwriting. Dave's
high school, adolescent, and unfortunately, young adult years, were all spent
in the Los Angeles music scene. After developing a dangerous fondness for
various intoxicating substances, he was ultimately faced with a choice:
Proceed down the path of destruction, or turn his life and will over to the
Lord Jesus Christ. Praise
God, he made the right decision, and his life changed forever. Since 1998,
Dave has been writing and playing music for the Lord, exclusively. While
feeling humbled, blessed and honored to lead worship for various church
functions at various congregations, his heart was and will always be in the
originals they write and perform. Steeple
People was the first such incarnation. It proved to be a great forum for Dave
to get his Christian songwriting feet wet. Some of the songs he wrote during
the Steeple People run are being performed by Hill of Beans today. If you

Jay
Jay is
one of those drummers that musicians only get to play with once in a great
while. He has the daunting task of trying to keep control of Dave's
lightening speed-demon approach to guitar playing. But he is clearly up to
the task. He
performed in college in Spokane with the Jazz band at Whitworth, and met Dave
when they were both at Washington State University. Jay received his
Master's degree in Mechanical
Engineering there. He and
his wife Tatyana live happily in the Tri-cities with no children. If you

Mike
After only
a few years at it, Mike has proven that he has an uncanny natural ability to
play the bass guitar. He picked it up to support the worship efforts of his
home church, only to find that the Lord had additional plans for him. He
brings a freshness to the Hill of Beans family with his unique style and
groove. Mike
has lived in the Eastern Washington area now for only a few years. The Lord
has blessed him with his lovely wife Rebecca and his FOUR kids; count them,
four: Cara, Lizzie, Michaela, and Benjamin If you

Melina
What can
we say about Melina that has not already been mentioned by the local
community as a whole. She is such a talented lady, Hill of beans is so
blessed to share the stage with such a young, yet seasoned veteran. Her
many credits include stage performances of acting, singing, and dancing. What
you hear her contribute to Hill of Beans is really on the tip of the
proverbial iceberg. But above it all, she is slave to her savior, Jesus
Christ. Melina
is the mother of three wonderful kids: Elijah, Bethany, and Isabella Yet, she
finds the time and strength to do it all, with the help of her husband Dave. If you

Randy
Randy
is the newest member to the group, but he is by no means the newest to music
in general. His piano playing has had
a substantial impact on the overall sound of the band. He is a solid brother in
Christ, and he is a very gifted musician. Randy
has an extensive background in music.
For over 20 years he has played loads of concerts, from numerous
churches to fairs. He has played on
TV a couple of times, and has been recorded for several different
CD'sincluding his own. He has been
involved in too many youth events to mention, and he has been leading and
playing on worship teams for at least 20 years. Randy
has his own piano tuning and technician business. Oftentimes you will spot
randy running here or there to get to his next client whose piano has lovely
sound has gone awry. Randy
and his wife Emily have a great daughter, Lydia, and they all attend Calvary
Chapel here in the Tri-Cities. If you
