Its musty and cold in the wickedest hole

The sinners are freezing to death

And the fires will not melt all the snow found in the hell

Cant you see them all gasping for breath

And the stupidest thing is He wanted to bring

Everyone home where its warm

But you just wouldnt listen and now youre all missing

The sheltering hand from the storm

Once againits a lovely day in heaven

And it seems unfair that I knew I was never

Going down

Youll soon realize its the cold in his eyes

That makes wicked snow cover the earth

And in winter hell strengthen your lack in the faith

To acknowledge your own Saviors birth

Though he tried for a while I continued to smile

Sticking close to my way

And now that Im gone I was right all along

Here the sun shines everyday

Once againits a lovely day in heaven

And it seems unfair that I knew I was never

Going down

The sun hit my face as He opened the gates

I proceeded to humble walk in

The most beautiful day is when I went away

All the things that tried to bury me

Seeing how the Lord carried me
